Social Sustainability: Woodstock High School's Environmental Task Force

Dordan believes that education is the best way to increase environmentally conscious behavior in a community; as such, Dordan is an active participant of the Woodstock School District's Environmental Task Force, which is a working group composed of teachers, students, and administrators that collaborate in the development and execution of green initiatives. In 2010, District 200 was honored by the McHenry Country Health Department with their annual "Green Award" for the cumulative efforts in recycling, waste reduction, energy reduction, education, etc. We believe this speaks volumes to the students' and administration's commitment to environmental stewardship and are thrilled to be involved!
