Dordan began its Recyclable Packaging Blog in winter 2009 in an attempt to narrate the development and execution of its clamshell recycling initiative (activate clamshell recycling initiative to link up with clamshell initiative page). After joining Walmart Canada's PET Subcommittee of the Material Optimization Committee, which worked to increase the amount of PET packaging recycled in Canada, Dordan began devoting its blog to a discussion of contemporary sustainable packaging trends. From an ongoing discussion of progress in recycling thermoforms to feedback from sustainable packaging conferences and research on specific dimensions of packaging sustainability, Dordan's blog is a good resource for those interested in sustainable packaging issues.

In just a year and a half, Dordan's blog has generated over 10,000 views, which speaks to the industry's desire to educate itself on sustainable packaging issues. In sharing our research with the public due to our ethic of corporate transparency, Dordan is proud to be contributing to the ever-evolving dialogue around sustainable packaging.
