Coming to Chicago for SUSTPACK16? Eat and drink like a local at these South Loop hot spots

Hello my sustainable packaging friends!

Coming to Chicago in April for SUSTPACK16? Well lucky you because THIS Chicago native is about to share her favorite local hot spots. Whether you like low key eateries or lively lounges, a South Loop hot spot awaits just around the corner from McCormick Place!

Want breakfast but don't want to wait to eat? Check out Central Station's best kept secret, Little Branch Cafe. With no parking (or website!), this hideaway is a popular neighborhood coffee house that offers a fresh and filling breakfast burrito. (If you do want to wait for breakfast, I recommend waiting at Eleven City Diner or The Bongo Room).

How about lunch? Get some fresh air (I wonder what the weather in Chicago will be in April...) and delicious thin crust pizza on the patio at local pizzeria Flo and Santos. Looking for more traditional, "Chicago" style pizza? Well you are in luck: Giordano's is also conveniently located in the South Loop.
