THE SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURER CONFERENCE HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR LACK OF INTEREST.

Good morning my sustainable packaging friends!

The Sustainable Manufacturer Network is a group of manufacturers dedicated to adopting sustainable manufacturing practices while simultaneously developing tools and resources for other manufacturers to do the same. The Sustainable Manufacturer Network is part of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, which is an organization committed to the growth of the metal processing, forming, and fabricating industries.

I have been on the Board of the Sustainable Manufacturer Network for over two years, serving alongside representatives from Steelcase, Dubois Chemicals, UL, and others. We are pleased to announce our annual Sustainable Manufacturer Network Conference is set for Sept. 26-27 at Hamburger University at McDonald's Campus in Oak Park, IL. This year's conference will include keynote address from former Senior Scientist to the US EPA on how manufacturers can thrive in the green economy.

Interested in presenting on your company's sustainability efforts at this year's SMN conference? Submit your presentation abstract here to be considered as a speaker at this year's event.
